Zambia workshops brought about a theme of advancing technologically and as a country.

Advancing in all industries in the sense of including everyone in the opportunities brought up by the advancement.

 The desirable futures and future skills included, among others:

  • a world free of social injustices, where everyone has equal access to opportunities and where no one actually feels disadvantaged.

  • Integrated Sustainable Agriculture sector led by youths, where youths have access to the distribution of resources

  • equitable society

  • Sustainable climate change mitigation in place 

  • an industrialised Zambia with a strong transportation system.

The reframed future was reimagined and some of the futures included:

  • maximum agricultural and tourism potential.

  • Innovative society

  • increased funding for the public schooling system and provision of enough resources in schools. 

  • Strong youth agency without interference from governments, where youths are not used as political tools of violence for selfish politicians, a society that embraces youth leadership in key leadership positions.

  • young people as established entrepreneurs.
