Power to Youth

A five-year program that centers on the youth and harnesses the power of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in achieving change to harmful practices (HPs), sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), and poor sexual and reproductive health (SRH) outcomes, including unintended pregnancy.

PTY envisions more adolescent girls and young women from underserved communities making informed choices, enjoying their sexuality, and being free from harmful practices in a gender-equitable society

The project is being implemented in two Malawian districts of Dedza and Machinga, led by a consortium of six organizations: Youth Wave, Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR), Malawi SRHR Alliance, Centre for Youth Empowerment and Civic Education(CEYECE),  and Malawi Human Rights Resource Centre (MHRRC).
